FDS has started with a a bang this year. We have talked about some of the things we intend to do this year (making a CD, being in a play, making a quilt, etc.) and some of the things the kids would like to see more of this year (singing, drawing). We launched this year’s group with a raucous game of Jenga and spent most of the following week talking about our favorite quaker songs and what they mean. More to come!

Larry described the injustices Gandhi faced. We talked about injustice in our own lives. We had apple butter. We talked about Reed’s play. Larry we bring materials for making flowers next week. We determined who will bring snack for the Lasers and flowers for the meeting according to the following schedule:
We ran around the courtyard. We were impressed by our new room, the Redlin room. We ate apples. We played the game “two truths and a lie” in which you tell two truths and a lie and the rest of the group has to guess which is the lie.
